About Us

Greetings! Welcome to the Greenville Church of Christ. It is our vision to Grow Close to God, Grow Close to Others, and Grow in Service.

We are a family of believers being changed by God so that our daily lives authentically reflect Jesus. As a family, we involve everyone in the church, from the youngest to the oldest.

We prayerfully seek God’s will and struggle to get ourselves out of the way. We share and encourage with each other to help us along our paths with Christ.

Good things are happening here. Come check us out!

Preacher Search

We are currently in the process of searching for a new Preaching Minister.

We are prayerfully seeking a full-time minister to serve with us who is God-centered, Spirit-led, and devoted to prayer and Bible study. An ideal candidate is a dynamic, engaging speaker who is gifted in discipleship and community evangelism. The members here are a family – focused on Growing Close to God, Close to Each Other, and Growing in Service. We are looking for a minister who will partner with us in this vision and become a part of our family. Greenville Church of Christ is a small a’capella congregation located in Greenville, NC, with approximately 50 members. Please send a resumé and cover letter to preachersearchgcoc@gmail.com.

DIRECTIONS

We are located at 1706 Greenville Blvd. SE.

new-sign

Coming from the west on 264E. As you approach Greenville, take the exit for Washington. This carries you under an overpass and traveling toward our building. From here you travel several miles and go through several stoplights. Do not turn off of this highway. You will see a sign for Washington, don’t turn toward Washington. From here you cross a river and come to the intersection of Greenville Blvd and 10th street. You go through this intersection and start looking for us on the left. We are a short distance from here. Our cross street is Emerson, across from a large apartment complex.

Coming from the south into town from Highway 43 or 903: Both of these roads will wind up at Greenville Blvd. With either of them, when you reach the Greenville Blvd., turn right. From 903 this is after you have passed a strip mall and a Red Lobster. With 43 this occurs when you can see a brick sign advertising the local university, East Carolina. With both of these look for the second set of RR tracks. After you cross them you are only a few blocks away. We are on the right from this direction, across from a large apartment complex.

MINISTERS

Dalton Stamps

Campus Minister

Dalton and Danielle Stamps work with our campus ministries to the East Carolina and Pitt Community College Campuses. Since 2016, they have worked together in ministries in Mississippi, their home state of Alabama, and now here in Greenville. They have participated in many different types of ministry and have felt a special call to reach out to college campuses. They have a beautiful baby girl, Bonnie. Dalton received a degree in Bible and Family Ministry from Harding University, and Danielle is an R.N. at ECU Health Medical Center. Their biggest focuses are community and family, and they work to bring them to our local college students and young professionals.
